Our three days adventure went very smoothly. Friday afternoon, we went out of town to pick a new stereo set for my husband's truck. Thank goodness! he found what he's been looking for. It was a "Pioneer" brand and he's very elated about it. Now, he can enjoy more all his fav CD's. Had our dinner at "KFC" and spent few hours at the mall afterwards. Yours truly haven't finished shopping yet for Josef's bday presents. I'm, to this very minute, is still snoopin' around to fill what's on his list. After the mall, we headed straight to "Sam's" to get some groceries. Kids were getting low on their snacks and drinks and some other stuff that they needed. And then, we've picked two movies to watch from Movie Gallery on our way home. Boy! "Hitman" & "No Country For Old Men" were a must see. You ought to go out and rent them now. On Sat morning, we left our driveway again and hit the road. There were several community-funded activities in our sorrounding areas for the kids and "egg hunting" was one of them, but my "brood" doesn't have the appetite for neither both. Our son, Josef, we could tell, is on the stage where "kiddie stuff" doesn't impressed him anymore. He don't even want to tote an egg basket much more looking for the hidden eggs. However, our baby girl has the desire for the activity but her mind was set on the "skating rink". Last weekend, we let her tried to roller skate and since that day, she's been talking about it. I didn't get to take any shots 'coz my digi cam's battery died on me. My husband commented that I have a bad habit on bringing an uncharged camera with me hahaha. I laughed and he laughed even harder. This past Sat was different though 'coz my cam was fully charged. As you can see a lot of Jann on roller skate. It's amazing she learned that fast. When we left Hollywood Connection our destination was to "TGI Fridays" but my dear dearest stopped at "Chili Thai" and got me a take-out of my fav "Pad Thai". Man, that was delectable! At TGI Fridays parking lot, the kids had a changed of mind and insisted we eat at "Olive Garden" instead. So, Olive Garden it is!
This morning, we went to church and attended the mass. Egg hunting at our church was a big disaster hahaha. They let the 5yo and under to go first and then those kids that 6yo and above. By the time kids at Jann's age got out to the yard, not one egg is to be found. I'm glad I put 12 eggs in her basket so, hers wasn't empty at all. We came home and had our lunch here. Later today, we went out of town again to look for a special blinds for our living room windows. That's about our weekend's scoop. Happy reading and have a frolic Easter to all !!!
