# ~: Bow On A Package :~ #

As my dear Dale promised to the kids, he took them to the fair yesterday for the rides despite of exhaustion from 12hrs shift. I felt for him but I guess his love for both Josef and Jann outweighs whatever he feels physically. What it was is that "Terry's Rides" will leave town today, and there's no tellin' when they'll be back for this year. It probably won't 'till next year around this time. Daddy dearest came home from work, took a shower and then asked everyone to hop in the SUV for town. We will just check the fair's schedule as our first plan and then will start from there but then when my husband found out that yesterday was the last day, he went ahead and let the kids have fun. I have to admit that he's really one of a kind. I know my own father is a very good, family oriented man but now he had a "match" hahaha. My Dale always put his kids in the center of everything he did or plans to do. He makes plans for them in advance and even took a day off just to attend school gathering and activities. He's very domesticated and he could fix almost everything. Our "privacy fence" is just an example of how good a fixer and builder I'd say, he was. And I am not saying all these to "sugarcoat" or anything like that, moreover, I won't compliment him simply because Jane next door mentioned her John is a great man hahaha. I've only seen two persons in my 41yrs who can run the kitchen and makes that pots and pans goin' after been working all day and those persons are Tatay and my Dale. I can't ask for a better husband. I see my union with him as a colorful package though it ain't big and nothing fancy, I am lovin' the way it is. So, just imagine how "eye-catching" the package was having a bow on it. Josef and Jann makes my family complete......they're definitely the "bow on a package". Thanks for reading and may you all have one blissful week !!!

Hi Jeth, your husband reminds me of my Dad. My Dad is like that, he worked hard all day long and then came home to cook and do what he can for my Mom . My Dad is a very patient and hard working man. You know what they say that daughters try and find their equivalent in their husbands? I agree that its true! Because look at you, you married similar to your Dad. And I did too! Although my hubby doesnt do alot of cooking or cleaning, he does A LOT for us and I am lucky that he is the type that shows deep affection to us. In fact, people who know my hubby are always telling me how lucky I am because his personality is so good! There aren't too many good men out there I tell you esp if you're looking in the wrong places. haha! Reason I know...CA is is chock full of filipina's who married the wrong person just for the hopes of being with an american and being here. So I guess what I'm saying is that Fathers influence daughters more than they know and so the goodness in our husbands will rub off in the choices our daughters make in finding someone to spend their lives with. Anyway, I'm up late after coming home this evening from clinical. I'm still up despite having to get up early tomorrow for class! PS I'm glad your kiddo's had fun at the fair.

Hi Jeth, I just love the way you picture your family through your up to date postings here. You are someone to envy because you seems to have it all. You sounds cool and so humble by saying your *package is not big and not even fancy* which I believe is true but you know what Jeth, the bow on it is what counts most . Having kids as smart as Josef & Janna is every parents wish to have. Not every mother could adopt the title of *PROUD MOMMY OF AN HONOR STUDENT* like you did, you know what I'm saying. I know I couldn't tell my kids to be on the honor roll so that I can call myself proud mommy of an honor student HA HA.

Oh that is sweet of you Jeth. I'm glad you say it as it is. A lot of hubby hates kitchen and many of them doesn't even know how to boil water how much more cooking for his family. Being married to a family oriented guy and a good builder pays off 99% of the time. If you hired someone to build your privacy fence it would probably cost you an arm and a leg and these days when you tries to call a handyman in for inspection, it will cost you just for showing in your driveway plus the charge of labor....

An adult like myself finds joy riding Ferris wheel and anything that moves back and forth in park rides, so I can only guess the happiness your kids are having when they realized they're about to ride on one . I surely missed being a kid he he.

Jeth, there is no room for sugarcoating. These days where both computer and knowledge emerged there's really nothing you can hide from the public. A lot of people whom you never meet or know, reads what you wrote here and if they weren't true they know it too. I believe in you and your truthfulness besides, you are too smart to invent a story . Happy Wednesday friend and enjoy your great family {wink}
