Life has never been bored in this part of the woods hahaha. Oh well, the last five words was excerpted from my friend, Kay's line. My schedules, as usual, are real heavy day in and day out. But we still maneuver to pull aside some special time for the family. Our V-day celebration went perfectly though we celebrated it a day in advance. We started the day by having breakfast at the Waffle House. It was on a school day and so the kids were absent from our table. I don't like the scenario, best of all the feeling but I'm not in control of what day the holidays fell on. That simply means just me and my darling Clementine on the breakfast table. The kids knew the family's plan weeks prior, so when they got back from school they've changed, got ready, and we were all headed out the door. Destination was out of town. Daddy dearest called ahead for reservation. Table for four that is! It's the weekend and it's only natural that eateries employees most often than not, were away from the counter and just let their business phones ring off the wall. At least that's what he thought. He never get a chance to talk to anybody and that's when your PC comes in handy hahaha. He went to their website and looked for the business hours. We were at the target. We can get there with all the time in our sides. Not even one person was happy after that. When we got there, we've noticed the parking lot is all ours. The officer told us the business had removed dinner hours from their service. That's all we want to hear. Kids didn't jump up and down and Josef's demeanor changed. I know how upsetting it was. We have no choice but to move on to the 2nd best place to eat. It's not as exciting but we were satisfied with the food.

Yesterday morning, my husband and I had our breakfast at Waffle House again. Kids weren't with us but I didn't feel as guilty as the Friday a week earlier. It's not that we left them at home or to the friends supervision, so I trained myself not to feel bad about it. They were told we were going out of town to ship my 2 Balikbayan boxes and so we did exactly that after school. Shopped for my pantry and then bought some fresh fish for my appetite. Oh, how I love "Red Snapper" & "Sea Bass"! They really put a big grin over my chin hahaha. After all the hassle and buzzle, we finally settled down on a nice seafood meal.

The latest on Josef.........he got everything he's gonna need for his trip. From head to toe cover, let me put it that way. His cellfone has a lot of minutes on it and I took him to his barber for a new haircut. His itinerary came thru the mail yesterday with all the details of the trip and people who will go. As for our baby girl, Jann, her b-day card invitations were all sent out and her cake was ordered. I haven't started wrapping gifts yet but I'll get to it. Another great news is that we have one candidate for "Gifted Class" this coming school year. Her school sent us the form to sign. Just exactly what I uttered earlier, my life has never been bored down here as you can follow my minute by minute movements. I guess, this is all for this post. My fingers are getting restless just like your eyes are going to different directions from reading. Enjoy your weekend and have a superb Saturday !!!

Jeth, I envy you for having a Valentine who has a great taste. It seems like you got all the nicest stuff from every special occasions. Oh my, when I heard you have ordered Janna's cake, I told myself {when is she going to bake it for her just to be cheap} ha ha. And then I remember that you are not cheap . ha ah! I see you had time to breathe though Jeth and I'm glad. Too much to do and too little time it seems to enjoy everything you want to do right now. I feel like I wasted time this weekend because we had parties to go to that I needed to attend because of the closeness of relationships I have w/those celebrating. There are just things you can't miss you know. I'm happy you had a good valentines and everyhing is good. I'm not bragging like I said in my website, just like I know you're not bragging. But my husband got me some unbelievable earrings that i can wear at the hospital! You know scrubs don't do your figure and beauty too much justice, so he got me some amazing diamonds to spruce up my outfit! haha! So I wear them everyday no and I feel like a million dollars even though I smell like hospital! haha! I'm into quotes lately Jeth. haha! Here's one "Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be."... Keep on trucking Jeth....:) Oh and Happy Birthday to your daughter! Wow, time flies..When is it?

It was nice to hear your V-day's celebration. I understand how upsetting it is to expect a good nice food and ambience and NOT getting the result. I would have changed my demeanor too if I were one of the kid . Gosh Jeth, Janna's b-day is almost here. Am so curious what she picked for her theme this year. Just can't wait to see. Congrats to her that she's another **gifted student**. You are raking all the pride and happiness for your smart children. How is that sounds girl? Very interesting isn't it? You bet.....

I am glad to know you had a good time with your sweethearts [husband and kids] this past weekend. Nothing can compares to the time you spent with your family. That is necessary and understandable. So you like Estee & Lindt, and so do I. We have something in common and our tastes didn't differ much. Happy birthday to the gifted student/celebrant. Hoping she would have a celebration of a lifetime.

It felt like I haven't been here in years. I missed out a lot too but I'll make up for it today . Jeth, that is really sweet of your Valentine to take you out and the kids to celebrate. How thoughtful and loving of him indeed.

CONGRATS to Josef & Jann for being so smart and for always excell in school works. So your baby girl is another gifted student huh! That is out of this world. I hope your son will have a wonderful time during his trip. That is another accomplishment to experience. I will read more when I come back to peek through your celebrant's pix. May she have an exciting party.

Those two states offers a lot to kids knowledge and education not to mention the entertainment that comes with it. I'm happy for you to have not one, but two very talented kids.
