I've been meaning to post an entry since April's Fool Day but to no avail. All I thought I have all the time in the world to sit down in front of my pc later that night after I dedicated my entire weekend on studying for this past Wednesday's BIG test and preparing for my course presentation, but I guess those two events really wore me out. I traded in an early bedtime to computer time which makes me felt good the next morning. Josef's twice-in-a-row baseball practice were cancelled due to heavy pour. It's been wet and soggy down here for over a week now. Fortunately, Friday was kinda dry and warm for his practice to takes place. We showed up at the "sportsplex" around 6:30pm and the session lasts till 9 in the evening. The wind blew a bit harshly as night sunken in, so I just let daddy dearest cheered for Josef. Me and Jann couldn't stand the chill of the night despites of having our cardigan and wrap on, so we spent the rest of the hours inside my SUV at the parking lot. My dear Dale told me I should see how Josef hit the ball and overran everybody. Man, he truly is a "runner" hahaha. I observed him many many times at home when both of them were out in the yard playing and I saw how fast he could run. I must say, he got that skill from my mom. Nanay is a good athlete and been raking medals during her high school years in the marathon. Wow, that's a long time ago and I am thankful for the good genes hahaha! I'll share fotos of him in Yankees uniform when everything is settled down. Furthermore, his 12th b-day is a week from today. He already informed us about what he wants and doesn't like. Everything was ordered thru on-line stores and asked his b-day cake to be a "simple one". No more "kiddie facade" or have a "for-tot-figure" hahaha. We could tell he's growing up. Next Sunday is also Easter and as usual, the following day, as our county's school system's practice......is the start of "spring break". We have a couple of places in mind that we've checked and considered for them to see but I am not giving away any detail this early. I am not into announcing our future plans for the thought that it may not happen hahaha. Be advised to stand by. April first may be a "fools day" but our VTN didn't pull anybody's leg when they featured Jann's school "All A's" honor roll. Look who's name made "All A's " again!!!

And here below are Jann's outfit to wear for her "First Communion" in May, as well as her "Easter" dress. Our baby girl has a "big frame" and surely is bigger/taller than any other girl her age. When I married a 6'2" guy I told myself........at least the possibility of having kids with height is 50% hahaha compare to 100% if I married a "Pygmy" like me. Oooouch! Jeth, Janna's popularity has begun. Look at her, she's been solicited to be in the Pre-Teen America. Beauty and brain comes hand in hand and Jann is just the right candidate for it. I can feel the pride you have for your kids. They are very smart and always gets the recognition. Lovely outfits too. If I have to guess, Josef's answer for a casual is **NO**. Your son is no longer a toddler but a **teenager** now. Thanks for your update....

very nice outfits! fit for a princess like your baby girl janna. whoa, i am mesmerized by your kids intelligence. their names have been featured in the newspaper for so often. that is amazing. a good genes are something to treasure. isn't that great your mom passed her marathon skill to your son? she must be bright too like you and your children. advance happy 12 to josef. i wish him more medals and recognitions to collect, good health [so he could overrun more kids], and good life. tell your daughter she got two dresses that captivated my eyes. she'll look gorgeous on them i bet.

Cindy.....oh yeah! Jann is starting to make her own reputation at her school. She's so delighted when she came home with the letter from her homeroom teacher. She told me nobody gets it except her, so I took it like she's the only one in her class who's a straight A's student since this invitation is strictly for straight A's. U betcha girl, I am truly beaming with pride. Like what I've said in the past......no teacher is giving away A's, you have to earn it! Thanks a lot for the compliment about her dress. And u r very right for Josef doesn't like a formal attire . He had to look presentable though b/c it's his birthday.

Lou.....thanks to u too. Good genes is the best anyone could pass on. But intelligence doesn't solely play the role. In my children's case, it's half and half. U can't learn everything from school, so that's when the role of the parent comes in the picture. I'm just raising my kids the very same way my parents brought us up. No more no less. I'm glad u like her outfit. I'd thought her Easter dress really worth $54 and her Communion dress $80. They're of nice fabric and material, so the price meets the quality.

Lan.....thanks again dear! Jann is so ready for her 1st Communion. She's excited too about the bread and wine they're about to taste. It would be much fun to have a party and I am glad u r thinking to throw one up there. We are not going to have one, I am positive of that. We've nobody to invite , just the four of us.

Lila.....yup, I guess Jann is following her bro's footstep. Teachers don't give away A's though, u have to earn it and I know both of my kids deserved what was given to them. I told them right from the start that good name is hard to acquire but once u made a name for urself, that is urs to keep forever.

April.....there's more dresses out there for girls than it is for boys. I don't quite comprehend that myself but I guess it's b/c girls are into outfit and more nicer to dress up. When I think of my son when it comes to attire, I couldn't think of anything but "shirt and pants" or "polo & shorts". Anyway, I'm glad to see ur blogprint here. Thanks for coming.
